Presented by our dynamic raptor-interpreters, learn all about these spectacular birds and be stunned as they brush right past you and fly right above your head ! A 12 minute gondola ride or a 90 minute hike will get you to the summit of Mount Tremblant for the show.

Come and see North America’s smallest raptor: Elsa and Anna, the American Kestrels. Observe Goliath, a Bald Eagle, from up close. Be stunned by a Harris Hawk, Mystery, spreading its wings right beside you. Get a glimpse of a majestic nocturnal hunter, Darwin the Great-horned Owl. Meet Bowie, the friendliest Barn Owl ever!

All this with the magnificent mountains of the Laurentians as the backdrop…

There are three ways to purchase tickets:

  1. At the Johannsen ticket office, at the base of the mountain gondola;
  2. By buying an Activity Card at the Johannsen ticket office;
  3. On site at the summit, right before the show, cash only.

LANGUAGE : Bilingual (French and English).

DURATION : 35 to 45 minutes.

LOCATION : At the summit of the mountain, at the top of the Beauchemin ski trail. Exit left from the gondola at the top of the mountain to reach the site.




The show is presented outdoors. If the weather seems questionable, please ask Tremblant customer service if the show has been canceled before heading up to the summit.

Access to the site may be problematic for people with reduced mobility and cardiac or respiratory problems as there is a slope to descend to get to the show site. Pets and picnicking are prohibited.


After each show, we offer members of the audience the unique opportunity to handle some of our birds on their gloved hand. For the cost of 10$, pose for photos with either an owl, a hawk or the kestrel and snap away with your camera!

Extra activities are offered daily from June 22nd to September 2nd, 2019 at Tremblant Resort, where we offer our summer birdshows. Reservations can be made in person at the birdshow, by phone at (819) 681-1779, or through the Tremblant Activity Centre.


In the company of a falconer and a trained raptor (a Harris’ Hawk), the guests/apprentices will get to experience first-hand the thrill of flying a bird of prey and having it land on their gloved hand. The falconer will introduce the apprentice to the basics of falconry including:

  • The characteristics of birds of prey,
  • The historical and modern importance of falconry,
  • Falconry equipment,
  • Bird handling and free-flight.

Equipped with a glove, a falconry bag and food for the hawk, each apprentice will call the raptor to his or her glove several times. A must for animal lovers!

Schedule: Daily, from June 24th to September 7th, 2020. Reservations can be made in person at the birdshow, by phone at (819) 681-1779, or through the Tremblant Activity Centre. Payment by cash or credit card (Visa, MC).

Location: Meeting at the Tremblant Activity Centre. The activity takes place on the mountain’s hiking trails.

Important Information: Proper footwear and outdoor clothing is preferable as we will be walking on hiking trails. Bring your camera. Youths under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult; children under 5 years can accompany the group but cannot handle the bird on the glove.

This unforgettable experience is targeted towards young people interested in working with birds or animals, in being a falconer, in becoming an animal trainer or working in a zoo setting. Your teen will spend all day with our team of falconer-biologists, get to meet our birds, enjoy the show and even help us out with the last show of the day!

The participant will also:

  • Help with food preparation and feeding
  • Learn about bird training and falconry
  • Get to handle a raptor on the glove and in free-flight!

Duration: from 10 am to 4 pm, half days are not offered.

Location: Meet at the Activity Centre, spending the rest of the day at the summit of the mountain.
